A beautiful 18k yellow gold and diamond gypsy ring. It is a classic simple Victorian band set with a central old mine cut diamond, and two outer sparkly rose cut diamonds, which essentially act like crystal prisms, catching light beautifully.
The history behind it: this ring is from Birmingham, England, likely from circa 1892-93! In the 1700s, the British government mandated that every jeweler must mark their rings with the year it’s from, which makes this an incredible way to know all about the ring, and gives it more value! The maker's mark "AMB" traces the origin of this piece.
Good antique condition, some surface marks and dents on the back and inner band, does not affect wear whatsoever.
